These truffles are very easy to make and a great little treat to bring to all those holiday functions you may be attending this year and the years to come.
Reese's Pieces Peanut Butter Cookid Truffles
Prep time: 45 min Yields: 45-50 truffles
Ingredients:
- 2 packets of pre-packages Reese's Pieces Peanut butter cookie dough
- 3-6 ounces cream cheese
- 1 bag of peanut butter chips
- 1 bag of milk chocolate chips
- Sprinkles
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and cook pre-packaged cookie dough for 14 minutes. Yields 24 cookies.
- Once cookies are done, set aside to cool down completely.
- Once cookies are completely cooled, in a large bowl crumble cookies by hand or with a food processor.
- Once cookies are completely crumbled, spoon in 6 tablespoons of cream cheese and kneed together.
- Once the cookies and cream cheese are completely combined, shape the mixture into small balls that are approximately 1 to 1 ½ inch in diameter.
- Place on a cookie sheet and into the freezer for about 15 minutes.
- In a small bowl combine peanut butter and milk chocolate chips, place into a microwave for intervals of 15 to 30 seconds or until completely melted, stiring between each interval.
- Remove cookie balls from freezer, using a fork, one at a time, dip and roll chilled cookie balls into the melted chocolate mixture.
- Return to the cookie sheet and add sprinkles and repeat the process for the remaining cookie balls.
- Place into freezer or fridge for approximately 5 to 10 minutes or until chocolate shell is hardened.
- Place and store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
